Instructor Austin Riley is a lifelong martial artist and the son of Kwan Jhang Nim (Grandmaster) Brett Riley and Sa Bom Nim (Master) Instructor Lois Riley, proudly continuing his family’s legacy in Tang Soo Do. A graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Theater Arts, and certified in KINDS Austin has combined his passion for performance with the discipline of martial arts to develop a unique and engaging teaching style. As a trained stage combat instructor and accomplished actor, he brings precision, creativity, and presence to both the stage and the dojang. His achievements include multiple grand championships in forms competition, showcasing his technical mastery and dynamic expression.
Raised in a household deeply rooted in martial arts, Instructor Riley has spent his life immersed in the traditions and values of Tang Soo Do. His instruction emphasizes confidence, discipline, and the power of focused movement, inspiring students of all ages to strive for excellence. Whether teaching traditional forms, self-defense, or integrating performance-based techniques, he fosters a learning environment that is both challenging and empowering.
